vex6.lol respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same of our readers. This page explains how to report claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and how to respond if material was removed in error.

Our Content

All articles here are original. We do not knowingly copy from other publishers. If you believe we have published material that infringes your copyright, tell us and we will investigate promptly.

Filing a Notice of Infringement

Send notices to our designated contact at support@vex6.lol with the subject line “DMCA Notice.” To be effective, your notice must include:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material, with enough detail for us to locate it — a direct URL is best.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Incomplete notices may delay our response or may not be actionable.

What Happens Next

We review valid notices promptly, usually within five business days, and will remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing. Where appropriate, we will notify whoever provided the material and may provide a copy of the notice.

Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to support@vex6.lol with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice,” including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the site may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.

After receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action.

Repeat Infringers

Where applicable, we will remove the ability to contribute content from anyone who repeatedly infringes the copyrights of others.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Please consider whether a use may be permitted, such as fair use, before filing.
